About this Design

Legend has it . . . back in 1904, there were mountain lions that roamed around Mount Nittany, a local landmark in State College, Pennsylvania. Today those mountain lions, "the Nittany lion" has become the mascot of Pennsylvania State University. We have designed a make your own belt kit we think you would like to stitch, with landmarks of this campus, including: Nittany Lion Inn, Lion Statue, Obelisk, Paterno Library, Old Main, Palmer Museum of Art, Schwab Auditorium, Hub Robertson Center, and the Beaver Stadium. When planning your Penn State needlepoint canvas, please let us know if you would like to include a free monogram.
