Sewanee Tennessee Needlepoint Belt Canvas
Needlepoint canvases from photographs can be more difficult to stitch. We recommend using less than 20 colors for less experienced stitchers. If this is a gift, please check with the recipient on what mesh count they prefer to work with. 18 mesh has very small holes and can be difficult to see, 14 is the most common and 12 mesh is better for someone who’s eyesight is not as good as it used to be.
With its rich history, plenty of outdoor appeal and charm, Sewanee, Tennessee is best known as the home to Sewanee, the University of the South. In our landscape design of this area we have included All Saints Chapel, with its towering archways and awe inspiring mosaics. Other buildings include: Stirlings, The Cross, The Stone Gateway, Admissions Office, Sewanee Inn, and McClurg Hall. When planning your belt canvas, feel free to include a monogram. Please note: this artwork is not licensed nor created by Sewanee the University of the South.
