Harrisonburg Virginia Needlepoint Belt Canvas
Needlepoint canvases from photographs can be more difficult to stitch. We recommend using less than 20 colors for less experienced stitchers. If this is a gift, please check with the recipient on what mesh count they prefer to work with. 18 mesh has very small holes and can be difficult to see, 14 is the most common and 12 mesh is better for someone who’s eyesight is not as good as it used to be.
Known as "Rocktown" or "the Friendly City", Harrisonburg is centrally located in the beautiful Shenandoah Valley of Virginia. Home to James Madison University, this city has a blend of historical roots and a modern atmosphere. Stitch this needlepoint belt canvas, with a beautifully designed landscape of the area, with buildings to include: Carrier Library, Keezell Hall, Wilson Hall, Maury Hall, James Madison statue, Newman Lake and Greek Row, Bridgeforth Stadium and the ISAT Building. When planning your belt canvas, feel free to include a monogram. Please note: this artwork is not licensed nor created by James Madison University.
