About this Design

This adaptation of the German flag, incorporates the coat of arms of Germany, dating back to the Holy Roman empire. Today, it is used as a variant flag of Federal Germany, a "government flag", it displays the national colors, black, red, and gold in three equal bands, along with the coat of arms.
