Last week we designed and made a\u00a0needlepoint kit<\/a> for a stitcher who’s son recently purchased a new home.<\/p>\n

The size she wanted to stitch was 23 inches by 13 inches. \u00a0The tricky part was that she could not get the two doors of the house to show up in the same image. \u00a0She emailed me 4\u00a0images, and I took two of the angles that I thought would work, and stitched them\u00a0together.<\/p>\n

It came out looking muddy due to the colors and lighting of the day, so after reviewing it with her, we\u00a0decided\u00a0I would “touch up” the canvas to make it easier to stitch. \u00a0The touch up included removing the grill and trash cans, along with a lot more things she didn’t think were needed. \u00a0We even added a new sky above the house. \u00a0After sending her the touched up preview, she loved it! \u00a0She\u00a0received\u00a0the canvas and was thrilled, which is always nice to hear \u00a0\ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n
