Save this extra canvas and use it as a pattern for the lining. I recommend using 100% quilting-weight cotton for the lining.<\/p>\n<p>Mark darts on the lining to match those of the yarmulke.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.needlepaint.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/08\/Yarmulke-with-darts-sewn.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-4215\" src=\"https:\/\/www.needlepaint.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/08\/Yarmulke-with-darts-sewn-300x282.jpg\" alt=\"Yarmulke with darts sewn\" width=\"599\" height=\"563\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.needlepaint.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/08\/Yarmulke-with-darts-sewn-300x282.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.needlepaint.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/08\/Yarmulke-with-darts-sewn-768x722.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.needlepaint.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/08\/Yarmulke-with-darts-sewn-1024x963.jpg 1024w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 599px) 100vw, 599px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Sew the dart on the canvas together. Steam press the edges of the darts to one side, so they lay flat and form a smooth rounded shape on the top of the yarmulke. Repeat for the lining, pressing the dart in the opposite direction of the direction that you pressed the canvas.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>With wrong sides together, stitch the lining and canvas together at the edge of the needlepointing.
