Family Crests were originally used to identify a person, before family surnames were common; and were often used to decorate helmets. We thought it would be fun for you to needlepoint your very own family crest, creating a one of a kind wallet. (DMC embroidery floss is optional, does not include leather, ask us about our leather finishing service.)We will modify this design so the sheild is using your family's own crest, and the colors in the banners will be adjusted to coordiante as well. Also, the animal on the top of the knights helment will be changed to coordiante with the crest.Once the order has been place email your crest to info@needlepaint.com or if you are unsure of your crest, you can email us the last name and we'll do the research for you.
