Looking for different ideas for monograms on your custom needlepoint belt? I’ve seen a lot of great ones, so I’m going to go over some of my favorites.
Typically we design a monogram with First Middle Last initials. Or if you prefer to have the last name in the middle, then the first and middle initials will be on the sides and smaller than the last name initial. With these letters, we most often use a Times New Roman typeface that is more traditional, or a Arial typeface that does not have the flair on the ends (see the EAK monogram below).
Other ideas:
Diamond Monogram – This is where the first and last name all come together in a diamond shape, last name goes in the middle. See JRL monogram, the third image down.
Circular Monogram – We can put the letters inside a circle (see SEC below). Again, last name goes in the middle.
Stacked Monogram – Stack the first and middle name on top of each other, and put the last name in a larger size to the right. See MWC monogram below.
Nautical Flag Monogram – This is where we use nautical signal flags for the monogram. See the top belt below.
Tiny Monogram – Looking for something that is not going to stand out in the design, but still be personalized? See the Tiny monogram below – fourth picture.
